    Science Fair Project Information
Title: The Effect of Various Wind Speeds and Blade Factors (Length and Pitch) on Energy Output
    Subject: Renewable Energy
Grade level: Middle School - Grades 7-9
    Academic Level: Ordinary
    Project Type: Experimental
    Cost: Low
    Affiliation: Selah Intermediate School
    Year: 2000
Description: A model windmill is built from wooden craft sticks and balsa wood. A motor that is used as a generator is attached to the windmill. Different wind velocities are applied by a fan and output voltage is recorded by a multimeter. Those steps are repeated with different blade lengths and pitches.
